Hello, I'm Paola
I grew up in Peru with a love of drawing. My working life first took me into import-export and later international development. I moved to the United States, traveled, raised my children—and eventually made a place at home for the art I had loved since I was little. That return became my life as a painter.
What I Love to Paint
I am drawn to light: how it changes a color, reveals an expression or makes an ordinary moment feel worth looking at.
Why Teddy Bears?
A teddy bear can hold a very human feeling. Through these characters, I explore curiosity, affection and the pleasure of simple things.
